Independent Clinical Research, an area leader in clinical research, is studying an investigational medication for potentially better pain relief after surgery.
At no cost, eligible study participants will receive bunion surgery by advanced foot and ankle surgeons, transit to a nursing care facility after surgery, care by skilled nurses with meals provided, and up to $500 compensation for study-related time and travel.

Dr. John Sigle, DPM and FACFAS, is a board-certified podiatrist. He earned his doctorate from Dr. William Scholl’s College of Podiatric Medicine and completed advanced surgical training at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center.
Dr. Sigle has treated patients of all ages, from children with club foot in Mexico and Honduras to adults in his hometown of Springfield, Illinois. He founded the Foot & Ankle Center of Illinois and currently serves as the Chief of Podiatry at HSHS St. John’s Hospital.
His work has been published in numerous articles and he’s been a guest expert on FOX Illinois Good Day Marketplace discussing surgical procedures for bunions. Dr. Sigle is committed to using state-of-the-art technology and best practices to assist patients with their podiatry needs.
